Burnley boss Eddie Howe is looking forward to having Michael Duff available again after he returned to training.
The defender has been sidelined since the end of August with a knee injury but Howe is hopeful he will be fit again after the next international break in mid-November.
Howe feels the Clarets have missed the 33-year-old's experience and expects Duff to play a key role once he is back to full fitness.
"Duffo is back training with us this week. I am delighted to have him back in the ranks," Howe told the club's official website.
"He's a really good talker, an experienced pro and somebody we need fit and hopefully available for the rest of the season. He's got a big part to play.
"He is someone we've missed but he's worked extremely hard on his rehab and he's not far away. I think the two-week break for the internationals will hopefully give Duffer a chance to get a couple of reserve games under his belt and once he's done that he will be fit and available."
