Striker Alfie Potter says he is looking forward to a bright future with Oxford United after signing a new deal with the club.
Potter has put pen to paper on a contract extension which ensures he will stay at the Kassam Stadium until the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
Oxford have also inserted an option into the deal which could prolong Potter's stay a further year to the summer of 2014 if it is activated.
The 22-year-old told the club's official website: "It was an easy decision to make because I think this is a forward-looking club with great plans for the future.
"The fans have been brilliant with me since I first arrived and I am very proud to play for them and the club."
