Bristol City midfielder Cole Skuse has been given a clean bill of health ahead of the weekend trip to Barnsley.
Skuse was forced off at half-time against Birmingham after suffering a head injury that left him with blurred vision.
But hospital tests ruled out concussion and medical staff have now given him the green light for Saturday's match at Oakwell.
"It was quite worrying at the time, because Cole was suffering from blurred vision in the dressing room," said City boss Derek McInnes.
"I spoke to the medical staff and they were quite worried about him.
"You always have to err on the side of caution with head injuries and we packed him off to hospital to be properly checked out."
"Fortunately, it was not as bad as we thought and the doctors decided Cole was well enough to go home.
"He was back in training on Tuesday and will be available for the game on Saturday."
