Bayer Leverkusen defender Michal Kadlec has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2015.
The Czech Republic international's previous deal was due to expire at the end of next season, but he was happy to prolong his stay at BayArena.
Kadlec, 26, now hopes his form for Leverkusen, who finished second in the Bundesliga in the last campaign and currently sit ninth, can continue to help his career for his country.
He told Bayer Leverkusen's official website: "I am very happy being a player of this club and I am a regular first-team player.
"I have made good progress as a player during my spell with Leverkusen. I would like to continue with that.
"I am looking forward to playing for Bayer to earn myself more caps with the Czech Republic."
