Young Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie expects to put pen to paper on a new and improved contract in Rotterdam in the near future.
The 20-year-old is currently tied to the Eredivisie giants until summer 2014 after signing his first professional deal last year.
Feyenoord are satisfied with the development of Clasie, who spent last season on loan at Excelsior, and have offered him an extension on his contract.
The Dutchman intends to discuss the offer with his agent but is happy at De Kuip and optimistic of agreeing a new deal.
"I'm going to have a quiet talk with my agent and I think it will be fine," he told Eredivisie Live.
"It's wonderful that they want to extend my contract.
"I know that I can learn a lot. For now, I would not think of moving abroad."
