Lyon defender Cris is hoping he will be offered another opportunity to work on his fitness in Lyon's UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
The Brazilian defender has only recently returned to action following a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
He remains some way short of full match sharpness, but knows minutes on the field are the only way he will build himself back up.
Lyon coach Remi Garde has offered no indication as to whether he will turn to his club captain in midweek continental competition.
Cris, though, claims he is ready and raring to go should he be called upon for a glamour tie with Spanish giants Real at Santiago Bernabeu.
"I am not at my best yet," he conceded.
"I am still missing a lot of things. But playing matches will help me to change that.
"The match against Real? I am at the coach's disposal.
"Remi Garde will make the decision. We have four centre-halves and it is up to him to choose who plays. I know he will make the right choice."
