Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine has been named the League One Young Player of the Month for September.
The 21-year-old scored six goals in five appearances for the Owls last month, including braces at home to MK Dons and Exeter, and a winning goal at Yeovil.
He told the club's official website: "I am very pleased to get this award and I want to thank everyone at Sheffield Wednesday for helping me win it.
"I couldn't have done it without the great service and the hard work of my team-mates. I had a slow start in January but it is getting better thanks to the great support from the gaffer."
Owls boss Gary Megson added: "Gary's award is fully deserved. He didn't set off playing in the first couple of games the way he would have wanted, but the way he was playing suggested he would do."
