In-demand playmaker Marvin Martin is planning to see out the season with Sochaux despite being a target for a number of top clubs.
The France international was reported to have drawn admiring glances from across Europe during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal, Newcastle, Lyon, Lille and Borussia Dortmund were all said to be keeping a close eye on his situation.
Sochaux hoped the agreement of a new deal in September would put an end to the rumours, with Martin having committed to the club until 2015.
Speculation continues to rage, though, with it suggested that interest from afar will be rekindled in January.
Martin is paying little attention to the gossip, with it his intention to see out the 2011/12 campaign with his current employers.
"I've started the season with Sochaux and I'll finish it with Sochaux as well," said the 23-year-old.
"I have absolutely no desire to leave the side like that in the middle of the season."
