Manager Gary Johnson believes his Northampton squad is strong enough to cope with the absence of Adebayo Akinfenwa.
Striker Akinfenwa is expected to be out for around two weeks after suffering a fractured jaw against Crawley at the weekend.
"I've got a couple of options and I've been thinking about those players in case we had a problem with Bayo," said Johnson.
"But at the moment it's up to everyone else to rally around and make sure we don't feel sorry for ourselves because we've lost him.
"We have got a few players who can come in and play there and it's up to them to step up a little bit now."
