AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown has poured cold water on reports linking Sammy Moore with a move away from Kingsmeadow.
Charlton and Reading were reported to be interested in the 24-year-old midfielder, who has played a key role in helping the Dons to third place in npower League Two.
But Brown has spoken to Valley manager Chris Powell and Royals chief Brian McDermott, who have assured him the rumours are false
"It is absolutely garbage," Brown told the Staines Guardian.
"After having spoken to both managers, who I happen to know well, they assure me there is no truth in the rumour.
"I do not know where that story came from."
