Middlesbrough's England Under-21 goalkeeper Jason Steele is set to return to action for the first time this season.
The young shot-stopper was set to start the campaign as number one for Tony Mowbray's side.
But he broke his wrist on the eve of the new season, which forced Boro to bring in Carl Ikeme on loan from Wolves.
Now the 21-year-old is set to play for Boro's development side at Blackburn on Tuesday and he could soon be back in first-team contention.
Also on his way back to full fitness is defender Seb Hines, who has been sidelined for five weeks with a knee injury.
Finally, Joe Bennett is back in Boro contention to face Millwall this Saturday after overcoming a sickness bug.
