Maghoma suffers injury setback

Jacques Maghoma's ankle injury could keep the midfielder sidelined for six more weeks, admits Burton boss Paul Peschisolido.

Maghoma limped out of the 2-2 draw at Oxford a month ago and then missed the home game against Crewe. With other players missing through injury, the former Tottenham trainee was patched up for the visit of Swindon and scored in the 2-0 win. However, his ankle problem flared up again forcing him to miss the last two matches. Results of a scan have revealed that Maghoma's injury is worse than the club initially expected. "Unfortunately, Jacques has ligament damage and I guess he's going to be out for between four and six weeks," Peschisolido told the Burton Mail. "I'm gutted for Jacques because he's been in good form this season and is one of the reasons why we've made a good start. He's a flair player who can play right, left, down the middle or even up front."
