Macclesfield have confirmed striker George Donnelly will re-join the League Two club on loan at the beginning of next month.
The 23-year-old striker has returned to parent club Fleetwood after his initial one-month loan deal expired on Tuesday.
But terms have been agreed with Donnelly and Fleetwood for a second loan period, with a view to completing a permanent transfer in January.
His move must remain on hold for a month because transfer window regulations state a player can spend a maximum of 93 days on an emergency loan.
He will return to the club for their trip to Burton on November 5.
Donnelly has scored two goals in six appearances since joining the club at the beginning of last month.
