Defender Gary Cahill is adamant his confidence has not been shaken following Bolton's disastrous start to the Premier League.
The England centre-back has suffered six consecutive defeats with the Trotters, who now sit rock-bottom of the table with just three points.
But the 25-year-old remains upbeat and is determined Bolton can kick-start their season when domestic action resumes next weekend.
He said: "There is a lot more things to do at the minute in our side but we've had a tough run of games and hopefully we can turn that away soon.
"What has happened doesn't knock my confidence. It gets me down, it disappoints me, because I'm a defender and I hate conceding goals.
"It does grind on me a bit but the run of games we've had, it is no surprise we are down the bottom end of the table.
"But those games are over now and we look forward to getting the season started.
"I've played the last three internationals which is encouraging but I think the sooner we can turn things around at club level, the happier everyone will be."
