AC Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel is keen to return to former club PSV Eindhoven before hanging up his boots.
The Netherlands international, who is out of contract at the San Siro next summer, has been linked with a return to the side where he spent six seasons before leaving for Barcelona in 2005.
PSV's technical manager Marcel Brands stated earlier this week that the club would welcome 34-year-old Van Bommel if he decided to make an emotional homecoming.
And the veteran midfielder has confirmed he would be open to returning to Eindhoven.
"I always feel good at the club. I follow it closely and have frequent contact with people there," said Van Bommel.
"I'm awfully fit and feel attracted to the club. When I return, whenever that may be, it will not be to build. I want to play for the title with PSV."
During Van Bommel's previous stint at PSV he won four Eredivisie trophies, as well as lifting the Dutch Cup three times.
