Blackpool defender Chris Basham admits he hopes to go out on loan in search of first-team football.
The 23-year-old has made just one Championship start for the Seasiders this season, in the 2-2 draw with Brighton back in August.
With manager Ian Holloway seemingly favouring a settled back four, Basham realises proving himself elsewhere may be the best option.
He told the club's official website: "I've been in and out of the side this season and I'm out again at the moment.
"If the manager wants me to go out on loan to a League One or Championship club then I'll do that because I need to play games.
"The first team are playing really well at the moment - they won 5-0 at the weekend and it's very difficult to change that side the way they're playing.
"I've been in to see the manager, obviously with me having a lot of time out with injury last year I just need to go out for maybe a month, have a good run of games and then come back again."
Basham was signed by Blackpool boss Holloway from Bolton for £1.2m ahead of the club's maiden Premier League season.
