Rangers' on-loan defender Kyle Bartley is not putting a date on his potential comeback as he wants to avoid a setback.
The 20-year-old, who is with the Ibrox club from Arsenal, is on the sidelines after requiring a hernia operation.
Bartley suffered the injury in Gers' 2-0 win over Inverness, his second debut for the club having also joined on loan in the 2010/11 campaign.
The youngster stepped up his rehabilitation last week and he could now play this month, although he is against putting a date on his return.
"I'm not targeting any specific games and at the moment I am just taking things day by day," Bartley told the club's official website.
"If I start looking too far ahead of myself I might get a bit carried away.
"Realistically, I've been out for quite a while now so it could be a few more weeks before I'm fully fit, but I'm getting closer.
"I've been outside for the last week with the fitness coach and the physios so hopefully I'm not too far away now.
"With my knee injury then the hernia problem, the last six months have been really frustrating. It has been a tough time.
"But everyone here has been behind me and I've managed to get through it and hopefully I'll keep getting stronger now over the next few weeks."
