On-loan Birmingham City striker Chris Wood is keen to extend his time at the club following an impressive stint at St Andrew's.
Wood, who is on loan at Birmingham from West Bromwich Albion, has spent the past two months with Chris Hughton's side.
He scored twice in Sunday's 3-1 victory at Nottingham Forest which took the New Zealand international's tally to eight goals in 11 games.
The 19-year-old is now hoping Blues and Albion can come to an agreement over the coming days to prolong his time under Hughton.
"I would love to be here for longer," Wood told the Birmingham Mail. "But it's down to the two clubs now for them to decide what's best for them and what's best for my future.
"They will be talking over the next few days and we'll see how it goes from there.
"I'll have a little bit of input but it's out of my hands. Both clubs know I want to stay here and kick on."
Elsewhere, Birmingham have announced their home Championship clash against Ipswich has been rescheduled for Wednesday 11th January due to the club's Europa League campaign.
