Queens Park Rangers star Adel Taarabt has been recalled to the Morocco squad just three months after storming out of a team training camp and retiring from international football.
The 22-year-old playmaker fell out with national coach Eric Gerets back in June after it was revealed he would not be starting an African Nations qualifier against Nigeria.
Taarabt reacted to the snub by leaving the team's training camp early and flying to France, where he then declared that he would never play for his country again.
However, it appears he has had a change of heart and is set for an international reprieve after coach Gerets called him up for next month's qualifier against Tanzinia.
"We have to correct young players sometimes to let them know how to behave but I like the boy because he is a great character in the dressing room and he is a talented boy," said former Belgium international Gerets.
"He is very young and I can't destroy his international career, I was young as well and done some stupid things when I was a player, I will have a chat with him."
