Wolves midfielder David Edwards has won a recall to the Wales squad for their Euro 2012 qualifiers next month.
Gary Speed's side face Switzerland and Bulgaria in their final qualification games of the campaign but stand no chance of making it through to the main event.
Edwards has just returned to Mick McCarthy's side after being absent due to a back injury and scored against Millwall in the Carling Cup earlier this month.
The 25-year-old will play under Speed for the first time since he took control of the national side.
After their 1-0 defeat to England in their last outing, Wales also have Liverpool forward Craig Bellamy and Sunderland midfielder David Vaughan available again after suspension.
But Cardiff striker Robert Earnshaw does not get a chance to redeem his miss at Wembley as he is out with a thigh injury.
Queens Park Rangers defender Danny Gabbidon will also be absent due to a knee problem.
Wales take on Switzerland at the Liberty Stadium on October 7 before they face a trip to Sofia to play Bulgaria four days later.
