Shots extend Brown loan stay

Defender Jordan Brown has extended his loan at Aldershot into a second month after arriving from West Ham on deadline day.

The 19-year-old left-back arrived on a month-long deal and went on to enjoy his first ever senior appearance against Cheltenham just days after his arrival, starting in place of the suspended Anthony Straker. Straker's recent knee troubles have seen Brown return into the fray and start Shots' last two matches against Rochdale and Crawley. His new agreement runs until October 26, meaning he will be eligible for the club's eagerly-anticipated Carling Cup fourth-round tie at home to Manchester United just 24 hours earlier.
