Potters boss excited about striker's possible return
Tony Pulis is crossing his fingers Mamady Sidibe comes through Stoke's reserve-team clash with Nottingham Forest unscathed.
Sidibe has been sidelined for over a year after snapping his Achilles tendon in August 2010 only to suffer the same injury in February.
The Malian striker has now been given the green light to step up his comeback, starting with a second string run-out against Forest on Wednesday.
Pulis has bemoaned Sidibe's luck on the injury front and he wants to take things nice and slowly so the striker returns to full fitness.

"It will be fantastic to see him back playing again after everything he's been through," Pulis told The Sentinel.
"We've obviously kept a close eye on his progress and not rushed anything.
"He's such a lovely lad and certainly hasn't deserved what's happened to him with these injuries.
"He's due some good luck at long last and we are all keeping our fingers crossed it starts from Wednesday."
