Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray has ruled out making any new additions to the squad in the near future.
Boro are second in the Championship after eight games and kept their third clean sheet in a row in the league against Ipswich on Saturday.
But the weekend's stalemate at the Riverside was the first time they had failed to score in 21 games.
The Teessiders removed strikers Kris Boyd, Leroy Lita and Lee Miller from their wage bill over the summer, with all three players moving clubs.
However, Marvin Emnes has been in inspired form this season, scoring eight goals in 11 apperances for the Championship high-flyers, while Scott McDonald has also been impressing up front.
Middlesbrough could go to the top of the table with a win over Leicester on Wednesday evening and Mowbray has confirmed that his squad will stay as it is.
He told the Middlesbrough Evening Gazette: "I'm not actively chasing and I don't think there will be anything happening.
"We asked clubs questions and it is up to them what the answer is."
