New Exeter signing Matthew Whichelow is hoping he will be able to ignite their season following a disappointing start.
Whichelow, on a one-month loan from Watford, has been brought in to ease the striking crisis which has threatened to derail the Grecians' season.
"I want to help the club as much as possible and help them put in good performances, which will lead us to climb the league table," he told Western Morning News.
"I believe I can bring a bit more directness to the side and create opportunities for myself and other people.
"I like to play more inside, just off the striker, but if I am told to play up top that is what I will do. I have just got to try and adapt as quickly as possible."
