Rotherham are giving former Sheffield United defender Stephen Jordan a trial run after impressing in a reserve match against Port Vale.
Millers boss Andy Scott is now likely to give the former Burnley man an opportunity to impress.
Jordan joined the Blades on a one-year contract last summer, but was released in April having made just 15 appearances and is currently without a club.
