Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez has urged his League Two side to show a more ruthless streak as the Bees struggle in attack.

Sanchez felt his side were on top during the early stages of Saturday's meeting with Oxford, but they failed to make their dominance count and ended up losing 2-0.

"I thought we were in control for the first 30 minutes, but we didn't test their keeper enough at that stage and we didn't get anyone on the end of our crosses," said Sanchez.

"When you're on top but you are not scoring you get worried as a manager."

Sanchez sent on experienced strikers Lloyd Owusu and Steve Kabba after the break but by then the damage had been done.

"I made the changes based on the fact we weren't scoring," he added. "But the players we brought on weren't as good as the players we brought off."
