Skysports.com understands that League One high-flyers Charlton are set to sign free agent Yann Kermorgant.
The 29-year-old striker had previously played for Leicester, although he failed to hold down a first-team spot during his time in the midlands.
The Frenchman joined Ligue 1 club AC Arles-Avignon on a season-long loan deal from the Walkers Stadium last campaign after admitting he struggled to adjust to life in England.
However, Kermorgant, who impressed earlier in his career at Grenoble and Stade Reims, seems as though he could now be on his way to South London.
Reports suggest the player will undergo a medical at The Valley before completing formalities for the Addicks.
Manager Chris Powell will hope Kermorgant will become a welcome addition to his squad as they seek automatic promotion the Championship.
