Arsenal have handed a new contract to midfielder Henri Lansbury.
The 20-year-old is currently on a season-long loan with Championship side West Ham United.
But Arsenal have moved to secure his long-term future by handing him a new deal.
The England Under-21 midfielder has already said that he hoped his loan spell at Upton Park would help him go on and cement a starting place back at Arsenal.
Lansbury has made three Premier League appearances for Arsenal, but has spent the majority of the last few seasons away from the Emirates on loan having enjoyed spells with Scunthorpe, Watford and Norwich prior to joining West Ham.
