Rangers youngster Ross Perry has been rewarded with a new four-year contract after breaking in to Ally McCoist's plans this season.
Perry has been given an opportunity in the SPL champions' first team this season after previously undertaking loan spells at Oxford United and Falkirk.
The 21-year-old made his debut for Gers as a substitute for the injured Kyle Bartley during last month's 2-0 win over Inverness.
The centre-half has since started SPL games against Motherwell and Aberdeen and made his European bow as a substitute in the Europa League play-off against Maribor.
He is also part of the Scotland Under 21 squad and will hope to be involved when Rangers resume domestic action against Dundee United on Saturday.
