Midfielder excited by move to France
Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen is thirsty for first-team action with new club Evian after the international break.
The former Liverpool midfielder completed his move to the French Ligue 1 side on Wednesday after failing to impress with the Reds in his first season.
Having previously turned out for the likes of Schalke, Sevilla and Juventus, the 31-year-old's Anfield nightmare somewhat stemmed the flow of his career.
And, after being frozen out in the opening stages of this season, a move was always on the cards, but Poulsen is anticipating regular pitch-time again.
"Evian have been in the picture for a while and I have talked to them back and forth," Poulsen told Danish broadcasters TV2.dk.
"I look forward to going there to play, it's exciting. I have been there already, it's a beautiful place and I believe my family can be happy there."
