Badr El Kaddouri has expressed his delight at securing a loan switch to Celtic and is looking forward to making his mark in the SPL.
The Morocco international has moved to Parkhead on a six-month-long deal from Dynamo Kiev and will remain with the Hoops until the New Year, when a permanent move could be made.
Neil Lennon swooped to secure his services after seeing Emilio Izaguirre ruled out for a lengthy period through injury.
El Kaddouri is excited by the challenge awaiting him in Scotland and admits he is honoured to have been offered the opportunity to turn out for such a prestigious club.
"I am very happy to join such a great side," the 30-year-old full-back told skysports.com.
"Hopefully I will enjoy my time here and the club will be happy to have taken me on loan.
"I love Celtic already. They are a very big club and they have got the best fans in the world. I can't wait to wear the famous green and white shirt on my debut.
"I am so happy to be in the United Kingdom."
