St Etienne have confirmed the signing of winger Max Gradel from Leeds United on a four-year contract.
The Ligue 1 outfit agreed a deal with Leeds on Tuesday after French rivals Sochaux failed in a bid for his signature.
Ex-Leicester City man Gradel passed a medical on transfer deadline day ahead of penning a long-term deal with the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard side.
Gradel was the stand-out performer for Leeds in the Championship last season with 18 goals in 41 games for the Elland Road club.
St Etienne manager Christophe Galtier is delighted to have the Ivory Coast international on board.
"He's very versatile," he told the club's official website. "He's able to play in every attacking position and he will bring impact and finishing qualities."
