Hannover have snapped up Austria international Daniel Royer from SV Ried for an undisclosed fee.
Royer is one of Austria's most promising talents and the midfielder is expected to be part of the team which faces Germany in a Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday.
Bundesliga club Hannover are happy to have landed the 21-year-old on a four-year contract from Ried.
"Daniel Royer can use both feet and can be used flexibly on both wings with his pace," said Hannover director of sport Jorg Schmadtke.
"We are pleased that one of Austria's biggest talents has chosen Hannover."
He is expected to make his Hannover debut in Stuttgart on 10th September, although he will not be permitted to play in the Europa League clash with Standard Liege five days later since he has already appeared in the competition this season for Ried.
