Newcastle United are set to conclude a deal for Charlton goalkeeper Rob Elliot.
Charlton had previously reacted with fury at Newcastle's approach for the 25-year-old and made a formal complaint against the North East club.
However, the two clubs now look to have agreed terms and Elliot is undergoing a medical at Newcastle.
Newcastle are looking for back-up in the goalkeeping department after allowing Fraser Forster to join Celtic on loan earlier this summer.
Tim Krul is currently number one ahead of Steve Harper, who missed the weekend's clash with Fulham because of injury.
