Jason Scotland has no desire to leave Ipswich and hopes Paul Jewell will opt against offloading him during the transfer window.
Clubs have until Wednesday to complete their summer business and there is expected to be a late flurry of activity.
It has been suggested that Scotland could be among those to find themselves on the move.
The 32-year-old is reported to be a target for Sheffield Wednesday, with the Owls keen to bring added experience into their ranks.
Scotland, though, is enjoying himself at Portman Road and plans to stay on with the Championship outfit.

"I don't want to move but anything can happen in football," said Scotland.
"I would like to stay here and keep pushing to get a starting place."
