Celtic duo Emilio Izaguirre and Charlie Mulgrew have both signed new contracts to stay with the Old Firm giants until 2015.
Honduras left-back Izaguirre enjoyed a stunning debut season at Celtic last term and was subsequently linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, he is currently recovering from a fractured ankle suffered against Aberdeen earlier this month and is looking forward to returning to action after agreeing his new deal.
"This is a great honour for me and something I was very happy to do," Izaguirre told the club's official website.
"Since coming to Celtic I have been given a magnificent welcome and enjoyed my time very much.
"It was very disappointing to suffer such a serious injury at Aberdeen and again I thank the club and the fans for all the support they have given me.
"However, I accept that injuries can be part of the game and now my only focus is to get back fit and playing again for Celtic.
"This is something I want to do as soon as possible and I am already working hard on regaining my fitness. I hope to rejoin my team-mates as soon as possible and again work hard on bringing success to our fans."
Versatile Mulgrew rejoined Celtic last year, having started his career with the club, and is also happy to have been rewarded with fresh terms.
"I am thrilled to have extended my contract with the club," he said. "I know this might sound like a cliche, but this is the only place I want to play my football.
"As a Celtic supporter, it has given me enormous pride to pull on the green and white hoops, and that's something I want to do for many years to come.
"I know that recent results have been very disappointing, and we want to get back to winning ways as soon as possible, starting with tomorrow's game against St Mirren.
"The support all the players and the management get from our fans is incredible, and we want to reward that in the best way possible, by ensuring that the league title returns to Celtic Park."
