Brown confident winger will excite supporters

AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of former Crystal Palace midfielder Kieran Djilali. The 20-year-old left Palace at the end of last season when his contract expired and he had been attracting interest from several clubs. He trained with Leyton Orient, Scunthorpe United and Bradford City in recent weeks, but has now secured a move to the Football League new boys. Dons boss Terry Brown is happy to have landed the winger and is confident Djilali can make an impact this season. "I am absolutely delighted to have Kieran joining us," Brown told the club's official website. "He is a very exciting player who has proved himself at Championship level - he has appeared for Crystal Palace over 30 times and is still only 20 years old. "Kieran is a wide player who can take people on and who has a yard of pace. He is equally at home on either wing but prefers the left. I honestly think he will excite the fans. "Kieran is not travelling to the Macclesfield game and he will join the team for training next week."
