Skysports.com understands Charlton Athletic have accepted offers from four unnamed clubs for experienced striker Paul Benson.
The 31-year-old saw a move to Notts County fall through earlier this summer, but could now be leaving The Valley before the close of the transfer window.
It is understood that bids of £150,000 have met the Addicks' valuation of Benson, who joined the club from Dagenham & Redbridge 12 months ago.
He scored 10 goals during his debut season with Charlton, but has only been on the fringes of Chris Powell's side so far this term.
Benson has made just one substitute's appearance in League One, but did score in Tuesday's Carling Cup first round win over Reading.
Powell has been busy strengthening his squad over the summer in preparation for a promotion push and is now prepared to part with Benson.
