Leyton Orient have signed goalkeeper David Button from Premier League club Tottenham on loan until January next year.

The 23-year-old has been drafted in as competition for Lee Butcher with regular number one Jamie Jones out long-term with a shoulder injury.

"David's arrival means we've got two keepers to choose from again and that makes the position more competitive again," Os boss Russell Slade told the club's official website.

"He's got wonderful experience by playing for Plymouth at this level last season and he's got good attributes."

Button will be in the Orient squad which hosts Carlisle this weekend.
