Tranmere Rovers defender Danny Holmes has joined Blue Square Premier side Fleetwood Town on a one-month loan deal.
The 22-year-old rejoined Rovers this summer from Welsh Premier League side The New Saints after coming through the youth system at Prenton Park.
Rovers boss Les Parry said: "We have a lot of competition here for defensive places with Danny, Michael Kay, Dave Raven, Mark McChrystal, Ian Goodison, Ash Taylor, David Buchanan and Zoumana Bakayogo all in the squad.
"The reduction in the number of substitutes we're allowed means we can't have as many players in our squad so this move is an ideal chance for Danny to play some first team football.
"Fleetwood play a good standard of football and just missed out on promotion to the Football League last season, so this will be a good move for Danny."
