Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed the club have no intention of selling winger Florent Malouda.
The arrival of Spanish play-maker Juan Mata this week has raised doubts about the future of the former Lyon winger.
Italian outfit Juventus are rumoured to be interested in the player, with reports this week suggesting the Serie A club were set to step-up up their interest in the 31-year-old France international.
Villas-Boas' interest in another left-sided player, Porto's Alvaro Pereira, further fuelled the Malouda exit talk.
However, when quizzed on the whether Mata's arrival would signal the end of Malouda's Chelsea career, the Portuguese was adamant a player of the Frenchman's ability was not going to leave West London.
"As we are speaking about the number of goals and assists that Mata has made at Valencia, let's speak about the number that Malouda has made for Chelsea," said the 33-year-old.
