Middlesbrough forward Lee Miller has signed a two-year deal at Carlisle to keep him at the club until 2013.
"From speaking to the manager I could tell that this is a club that wants to move forward, and I'd love to be a part of that," the 28-year-old told the club's official website.
"I wasn't getting as much football as I wanted at Middlesbrough and to come to a place like this, where there is a bit of a buzz, is a good move to make."
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott was delighted to get his man, and told the club's official website: "We've known about Lee for a while and he's the kind of player that we feel will help us in the way that we want to play.
"Things had tailed off for him at Middlesbrough and from talking to him I can tell that he's keen to get here and really kick on."
