Samuel Eto'o's proposed move to Russian side Anzhi will be confirmed early next week, according to the player's agent.
The Inter Milan striker has been the subject of a huge offer, with Anzhi allegedly prepared to make the Cameroonian the highest paid player in the world.
Eto'o's wage will, reportedly, be in the region on €20million (£17.5million) per season, with the transfer fee also too high for Inter to refuse.
The 30-year-old will undergo a medical on Monday, with his agent Claudio Vigorelli foreseeing no hiccups in the deal.
"Should everything go well with medicals then the official announcement will be on Monday or Tuesday," Vigorelli told Italian media.
Eto'o moved to Inter from Barcelona in 2009, winning his third UEFA Champions League medal with the Italian side.
