Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet remains optimistic that they will be able to sign midfielder Ryan Harley from Swansea City in the coming days.
The Championship side have earmarked the 26-year-old as a key transfer target this summer and Swansea too appear to be inclined to sell him.
Poyet, whose side maintained their 100 per cent start to the 2011-12 season on Wednesday with a 3-1 away victory over Cardiff City, says that he is hopeful of having Harley in his squad before long.
"We are working on it," he told The Argus. "I hope we will do something before the end of the week and we are still working on something else."
Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers too has given a strong hint that Harley will leave the Liberty Stadium before the end of the transfer window.
"Ryan has probably seen that his chances will be limited here and he's at the age where he wants to play," he stated.
Brighton host Blackpool in the Championship on Saturday, while Swansea will aspire to get over their 4-0 defeat to Manchester City by winning against Wigan Athletic in the Premier League the same day.
