Newly-signed Blackburn Rovers midfielder Radosav Petrovic has described the Premier League as 'the best in the world'.
The Serbia international joined Blackburn from Partizan Belgrade last week and could make his debut for them during Saturday's league encounter against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Petrovic was ineligible to feature for Rovers against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend in a match that his new club lost 2-1, but he hopes to face Villa as formalities over his transfer and international clearance should be sorted before the weekend.
"I want to (face Villa) but we will see," said the 22-year-old in the Lancashire Telegraph. "Everybody knows that Blackburn Rovers is a very big club with a very big history and I'm very happy to be here.
"Everybody knows that the Premier League is the best in the world and every little boy's dream is to play in the Premier League.
"I want to play in Blackburn and win in every match if it's possible. I play in the centre and last year scored 10 goals.
"In Blackburn I want to score five or six goals."
