Espanyol sporting director Ramon Planes has admitted that Roma and Atletico Madrid have made bids for striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
The Argentine forward has been in fine form for the Spanish club, scoring 13 goals in 24 league appearances and securing many admirers from across Europe.
Reports suggest that Espanyol are looking for around 20million euros for the 25-year-old, who moved to the Primera Liga from Bologna last year for 4.6million euros.
"A market duel between Atletico Madrid and AS Roma? I can only say that the interest is very strong from both clubs, who have submitted their offer to us," Planes told calciomercatoweb.it.
"In football everything changes very quickly, so it is useless to speak on the basis of feelings.
"A price of 20million euros? I think it is not correct to speak about figures, I never did it."
