Plymouth captain Carl Fletcher has been ruled out for at least a fortnight after picking up a thigh injury on the weekend.

Fletcher was substituted during the second half of the League Two 4-1 defeat to Rotherham at Home Park last Saturday and his manager, Peter Reid, has confirmed the extent of his skipper's injury.

Reid told the Western Morning News: "I think Carl Fletcher will be out for at least two weeks.

"We're missing two of our experienced players, but these things happen.

"It's no use moaning about it. We've just got to get on with it, and it's a chance for somebody else coming into the side."

In Fletcher's absence, defender Stephane Zubar is set to lead out the Pilgrims for Tuesday's game against AFC Wimbledon.
