Sheffield Wednesday have signed midfielder Chris Lines from Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
Skysports.com revealed on Thursday that a deal was in the pipeline, and Lines has now put pen to paper.
The 25-year-old, who made over 150 appearances for Rovers, has penned a three-year deal at Hillsborough and becomes Gary Megson's eighth signing of the summer.
He told Wednesday's official website: "I was aware of interest in me by Sheffield Wednesday and I couldn't wait to come here and get the deal done.
"I'm keen to get out on the pitch and show the fans what I can do and help get this club back where it belongs.
"I've played against a lot of the lads that are here throughout my career and I know there is a lot of competition, so it will be a good challenge for me here."
