Holland international goalkeeper Michel Vorm has completed his transfer from Utrecht to Swansea.
Brendan Rodgers side have paid £1.5m for the services of the 27-year-old, who has signed a three-year deal at the Liberty Stadium.
And Vorm says he already knows plenty about his new club after following the progress of his friend, Cedric van der Gun, during his two seasons in south Wales.
"When Cedric came here I was watching on the internet and looking out for all of Swansea's results," said Vorm.
"I don't know anything about the other clubs in the Championship last season, but I know a lot about Swansea.
"The style is very much the same as we like to play in Holland, and similar to Spain, and that is a major attraction for me.
"The manager wants to play the right way, and he and the club showed that they really wanted me. That is very important."
