Roland Juhasz's agent claims the Anderlecht defender will not be joining Rangers this summer after all.
Gers boss Ally McCoist had been eager to land the Hungary international stopper, but has seen numerous bids rejected by Anderlecht.
The Belgian club are thought to want €4million (£3.47m), however, the deal is set to break down over a €200,000 (£174,000) differential.
The 28-year-old is now set to remain with Anderlecht, a prospect that has Vladam Felipovic fuming as he believes his client deserves better.
"Roland will not go to Rangers and that is Anderlecht's decision despite many offers," explained agent Felipovic.
"Finally the difference was a ridiculous €200,000. And this is at a time when Anderlecht have received many millions of euros from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku.
"Anderlecht have not kept their word. When we signed a new contract with them they made a promise about a transfer fee. Rangers have offered this fee but Anderlecht refuse to accept it.
"After six years at the club Juhasz deserved to be treated better than this. He didn't want to move to Rangers for financial reasons - he needed a new challenge.
"His dream is to compete in the Premier League and it would be easier to achieve this by playing a few seasons in the SPL.
"Last season he played with injections to help this club. Will he agree to play for them again this weekend? Yes, because he's the most professional guy I have ever met. But sometimes if you are too good to the club this is the way you are treated in return."
